We conducted a competitive analysis to 3 waterparks websites to identify areas of improvement in the LPOD website.

 

We found out that the website lacks:

  • A live map where participants can navigate the park on. 

  • A way to contact live support

Comparative analysis

In order to ensure that the LPOD website was up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, we conducted a thorough comparative analysis with five local attractions websites.

We aimed to improve the LPOD website by identifying and adapting key features from local attraction websites. Our analysis compared navigational structure, content organization, information architecture, and visual design. We aimed to enhance user experience and competitiveness.

Key Findings

  • The website includes all the necessary information visitors might need

  • Lacks information architecture and organization

Usability Test (Current Website)

Our usability testing aimed to evaluate multiple aspects of the website, including ease of use, information findability, and identifying pain points. We wanted to gather insights to improve usability and enhance the user experience.

  • 3/4 participants: Struggled to find the park’s timings.

  • 2/4 participants: Struggled to find park memberships information.

  • 3/4 participants: Struggled to find rides and slides information.

  • 4/4 participants: Couldn't complete the task of purchasing the (EZ pass) to skip queues.
